NICU Graduate Follow-Up Program in Dubai
From Fragile Beginnings to Thriving Futures
At SHINE CDC, we understand that a newborn’s journey doesn’t end at hospital discharge. Babies who spent time in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) may face unique developmental risks and require specialized early monitoring and care.
Our High-Risk Newborn/Infant Follow-Up Clinic provides a unified pathway that integrates neonatology, developmental pediatrics, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech-language therapy, and nutrition. We partner with parents to ensure each baby receives the earliest, most effective interventions for long-term developmental success.

Evidence-Based Outcomes
Research confirms that NICU graduate follow-up programs improve long-term development:
Earlier motor milestones (Spittle et al., 2015)
Higher cognitive and language scores at 2 years (Anderson et al., 2010)
Reduced severity of impairments with early intervention before 6 months (Novak et al., 2013)
Improved sensory regulation and fewer feeding issues (Pineda et al., 2017)
