“Every Child is a Living Ecosystem — Vibrant, Unique, and Full of Potential”
Mr. Samuel Donald
Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Samuel Donald is a dedicated Pediatric Occupational Therapist with over eight years of experience supporting children with developmental delays, sensory processing challenges, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and emotional regulation difficulties. Beyond his clinical role, Samuel is also a passionate reef keeper and wildlife photographer, finding parallels between cultivating thriving marine ecosystems and nurturing children’s growth.
His therapeutic philosophy is rooted in balance, patience, and observation: values he applies both in maintaining coral habitats and in creating supportive environments where children can flourish. Samuel often incorporates his reef tank into therapy sessions, using it as a calming sensory tool and a source of mindfulness, focus, and regulation.

Personal Experience:
Samuel believes that, just like coral reefs, children thrive when given the right balance of challenge, stability, and support. With a Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy and advanced certifications in sensory integration, reflex integration, rhythmic movement, and therapeutic play, he blends evidence-based approaches with creativity and playfulness. His sessions are engaging, meaningful, and designed to foster independence, resilience, and essential life skills.
At SHINE CDC, Samuel is more than a therapist: he is a “reef keeper” for his clients, cultivating environments where children feel safe, regulated, and empowered to shine.
